Advanced Machine Reliability Resources (AMRRI) and Generation Systems Inc. (GSI), creator of Lube-It management software, two of the most respected names in machine lubrication management, are combining forces to create a best-in-class offering to support asset health and machine reliability for Fortune 1000 manufacturers.

Lube-It is a multi-year nominee and previous winner of the ‘Product of the Year’ work practices management software and the most widely used lubrication management system in existence. AMRRI has created proprietary methods for customizing the machine lubrication ‘care and feeding’ plan based on machine criticality and working conditions. Those methods produce Reliability Centered Precision Lubrication work practices. Since its founding, AMRRI has deployed customers’ work plans through the award-winning Lube-It software management program.

“Bringing together precision work practices development with a superior work management system is a hand-in-glove strategic fit,” said Mike Johnson, founder of AMRRI and president of both companies. “We are just starting to realize the synergies that will provide new capabilities and cost-saving innovations to our customers. We’re working on a host of advanced features that will greatly enhance work management capabilities and simplify the life of every maintenance manager who chooses this platform,” Johnson continued.

Each element of the machine lubrication plan represents a separately populated field. Fields are seamlessly combined to provide a management platform with a comprehensive, yet flexible scheduling interface, that organizes thousands of tasks within seconds of initiating a new weekly plan.

“We have a strategic initiative to build on our lubrication engineering functionality and add a healthy dose of lubricant-based condition monitoring expertise, into a future web-based Lube-It version 6.0 SaaS application,” Johnson said. “We see this platform as the innovation breakthrough that will bring daily essential machine care into the growing ‘Industrial Internet of Things’ (IIOT) vision and will revolutionize the way we leverage digital technology to manage and measure machine health.”
